Wind Erosion and Eolian Processes Information Network

Background

In June 1997, an International Wind Erosion Symposium/Workshop was held in Manhattan, Kansas, USA. During this symposium, a breakout session was held to discuss the topic of an International Network for Information Exchange. The vision statement which was develop at this session is:

Vision: A linked and informed community dealing with wind erosion and aeolian processes.

One of the goals that resulted from this workshop was:

  • Promote the publication of bibliographies, reviews, and case histories through a central list and links to other home pages.

  • To meet this goal in part, this page was established.
